Eden is located on the NSW South Coast, is ideally situated mid-way between Sydney and Melbourne and with its stunning harbour, Twofold Bay, is the third deepest natural harbour in the world.
With its rich maritime history and amazing whale watching and heritage stories, Eden is one of Australia’s most pristine natural environments and a growing cruise ship destination.
Eden is set in coastal wilderness of magnificent rugged landscapes with golden beaches and crystal waters. A whale watching wonderland throughout Spring there are regular sightings of Humpbacks, Southern Right, Minke, Killer and even the endangered Blue Whale.
Eden is home to some of Australia’s most significant whale heritage sites and the amazing ‘Killers of Eden’ story, which can be experienced on the ‘Killer Whale Trail’ all year round.
Within 30 minutes’ drive of the port are world class attractions including national parks, forest, wildlife sanctuaries, heritage and cultural sites, while located at the port there is a whaling museum and marine discovery centre.
Eden's position also provides the opportunity for passengers to do a day trip to the national capital, Canberra.
Port Capabilities:
Larger vessels favour anchorage in a sheltered location, just a 5-minute tender ride lands passengers in the heart of town. The existing Breakwater Wharf caters for smaller vessels of up to 105 metres LOA and 4.0 metres draft within walking distance of town.
Port Upgrade:
A major upgrade of the Breakwater wharf is underway which will expand capacity to 300+ metres. The expected project completion is June 2018.
