Natalie has taken on the role of Membership and Events, under contract for ACA. Commencing September 2023.

Natalie is well-known as a leader in the development and growth of regional cruise destinations and holds a strong resonance with communities and understanding of the collaboration required to allow shared goals to reach a sustainable outcome.

A key achievement in Natalie’s career was the development of Eden as a benchmark for cruise destination modelling, and the devising of the Regional Port Development Project that identified and grew regional cruise ports across NSW. This project was a first of its kind for cruise in Australia and is still widely recognised within the industry.

Following leadership roles in cruise tourism and with local and regional tourism boards, Natalie followed her passion and started Saltando Consulting to further explore the opportunities cruise visitation can provide destinations across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific, and work with communities to build their value proposition through collaboration and partnerships.

In her spare time Natalie is a volunteer firefighter and President of Merimbula Rural Fire Brigade, involved in many volunteer tourism and events groups and a mother of two teenage daughters, who know everything and keep her on her toes!
