Joanne joined Intercruises Port and Shoreside Services in May 2022 and is currently the Commercial Development Manager for Australia. Based in regional Western Australia, she works closely with the Sydney team and several cruise line partners to support itinerary planning, destination development, and supplier engagement across the country.

With over 20 years of experience in tourism, hospitality, and the cruise sector, Joanne brings a strong understanding of how regional destinations operate and how to align their offerings with the needs of cruise lines. 

Throughout her career, Joanne has worked closely with State Tourism Organisations, regional tourism bodies, and local operators. She has built strong industry relationships and takes a collaborative, practical approach — helping destinations put their best foot forward while ensuring the guest experience and operational requirements are met.

Joanne is passionate about the cruise industry and is a strong advocate for the role of regional destinations within the wider cruise offering. Her combination of national industry knowledge, lived regional experience, and hands-on understanding of cruise operations means she is well placed to contribute to discussions shaping the future of cruising in Australia.
