The Port of Brisbane is one of Australia’s fastest growing container ports, and Queensland’s largest multi-cargo port.

Located at the mouth of the Brisbane River and the entrance to the beautiful Moreton Bay, the Port of Brisbane also serves as Brisbane’s sole port-of-call for cruise ships greater than 270 metres in length.

To further enable Australia’s growing cruise industry, the Port of Brisbane is currently constructing south-east Queensland’s only dedicated mega-cruise ship terminal, the Brisbane International Cruise Terminal.

Scheduled to be operational in 2020, this world-class facility will be able to cater to cruise vessels of all sizes and enable mega ships to utilise Brisbane as a base port, transforming the city into a major cruise destination.
