Resulting from our high level of activity with all vessel types, ISS has developed a long-standing relationship with all Ports and officials around the region. This allows us to source information and services necessary for the planning and managing of the port calls. We maintain and develop excellent local contacts with all Authorities & Tourism Commissions and have extensive knowledge and influence with all ports.
ISS is highly regarded by the shipping community both in Australia and overseas. Supported by a strong industry involvement in Australian Maritime affairs and as an active participant and member of Shipping Australia, FTA, MACN, Australian Cruise Association and CLIA. ISS is often called upon to contribute to major reviews in government policy and investigation.

Globally, Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) provides global strategic maritime, cargo and supply chain solutions to shipowners and operators who span all geographies, market segments, vessels and asset types.
In Australia, we operate 24 manned port offices covering over 50 active ports around the Australian coast, the Australian team is defined into three Regions of Operations to focus on service delivery and supported by approx. 200 staff. Additionally the Australian team provides full liner agency services to a number of container carriers and operates a marine survey division. Our NZ operation comprises approximately 90 staff, servicing the entire NZ coast through 7 port offices. PNG has a team of approximately 90 staff offering port agency, cargo services and liner agency capabilities through our network of 6 offices in the region
Timor-Leste, South Pacific Islands and Micronesia operations are coordinated through our experienced operations team in Australia, who actively support and coordinate business partner activities in the region. Communication through Australia enabling improved reliable communication to principals and ensuring that challenges of operating in these remote regions can be proactively identified, managed and overcome by our team.
ISS has extensive global experience in working with cruise vessels, working with a number of principals around the world. ISS Australia conducts more than 80% of market share on cruise vessel port agencies national wide.
Within Australasia, we have a dedicated Australian Cruise Operations team led by a National Coordinator supported by experienced port operation teams providing local expertise for all Australian Port calls. Our staff are dedicated, friendly and focused on cruise activities. Our team is committed to customer service delivery, providing strong support to our Principals focusing on cost control, customers’ satisfaction and smooth port call operations.
