Austronesian Expedition Services is an Australian-based specialist tour agency offering land side tours and activities for expedition-style cruise operators, ship charterers and large travel agent groups across the Australia Pacific region.

We generally cater for vessels and groups from 20 guests up to 220 guests.

We provide expedition style ship based programs in

• Some limited areas of Malaysia and the Philippines

Our long standing relationships with many of the remote communities we work with gives us the ability to provide genuine and unique experiences shore side for ship guests in some of the most rewarding destinations in the world for expedition cruising. We have been designing and providing shore side programs in the region for over 20 years now and count some the world’s best expedition cruise operators as our clients. We can generally develop new and unique programs to suit any expedition destination in the region or alternatively have many off-the shelf programs in popular port locations available that can be adjusted to suit the individual client’s needs.

From the stunning wilderness of Raja Ampat in Indonesian Papua to the warm friendly cultures of remote Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands villages, to the tragic yet fascinating history of one of the worlds newest nations Timor Leste to more traditional shorex tweaked for individual client needs such as Komodo Dragon Treks or Borobudur Temple visits in Indonesia, we can support ship operator and charterer needs across the region when it comes to shore side experiences and tour programs.
