As the cruise ban lifts in Australia and the country readies itself to welcome back cruise ships and their passengers, a ten strong member delegation from the Australian Cruise Association (ACA) will attend Seatrade Cruise Global in Miami, Florida next week.
The Australian Cruise Association (ACA) welcomes the re-start of the cruise industry today as the first international ship arrives back into the country following the announcement of the lifting of the cruise ban last month by the Federal Government.
The agreement at National Cabinet that the Federal Government, and NSW, Victoria and Queensland state governments will work with the cruise industry around the protocols for a cruise re-start is welcome news for our sector.
Ahead of an expected 2022 cruise re-start, the Australian Cruise Association (ACA), in conjunction with CLIA Australasia and supported by Tourism Australia, is holding a series of workshops in key cities around the country.
Further to the extension of the lockdown in NSW, the Australian Cruise Association (ACA) has taken the decision to move their Annual Conference to 10-12 November 2021. The event will still be held in Townsville.
