The 2022 Conference is heading to Townsville.

We are proud to present the program and registration for the 24th Conference & AGM "CHARTING THE FUTURE" to be held in Townsville, Queensland from 7-9 September 2022. This year's event is proudly sponsored by Townsville Enterprise, Port of Townsville, Tourism and Events Queensland and Tourism Australia.

There has never been a more challenging time for the cruise industry, globally and within Australia. It is critical that we all come together in September to raise our continued efforts towards a clear roadmap of recovery for the cruise sector. We are pleased to announce an amazing line up of speakers with both domestic and international knowledge with a real capacity to influence deployments, destination growth and economic dispersal.

With the assistance of local experts presenting and participating in workshops and panels, these reputable keynote speakers will focus on the roadmap to recovery, the enormously positive outlook for cruise once the world settles down, the opportunities for further destination development and the expansion of economic investment.

The conference will provide a much-needed gathering of the minds to ensure the execution of the restart program is successful and that we can create as much consistency around our Australian ports and destinations as possible with positive outcomes.

Please note: The Australian Cruise Association recognises the importance of bringing everyone together for this conference in such challenging times. It has therefore, heavily subsidised the registration fees for the 2022 event in recognition of the ongoing support our members and stakeholders provide to the Association and the industry as a whole. We encourage delegates to register within the early bird timeframe (closing 30 June) to maximise the subsidy offering.

In regards to any interruptions due to COVID-19, the ACA will make refunds available in cases where the services can be refunded to ACA by the venue providers.
