Measuring just 8km long by 5km wide, covered with lush rolling green hills and surrounded by rocky shorelines, the tiny volcanic outcrop known as Norfolk Island is located over a thousand kilometres off the shores of Australia.

Transam Argosy has been developing the cruise ship industry at Norfolk Island since 1992.  In 2010 P&O Cruises started calling at Norfolk Island.  The success of these calls led to the Australian Government improving port facilities and providing 3 Passenger Transfer Vessels.  These improvements in the Island’s cruise infrastructure has led to a vastly increased number of cruise ships calling at Norfolk Island.

In 2020 there are 16 cruise ships scheduled to call at Norfolk Island.  These range from smaller expedition cruise ships with 100 passengers to P&O cruise ships with 2,000 passengers.  Cruise lines calling at Norfolk Island include Seabourn Cruises, Holland America Line, Regent Seven Seas, Hapag-Lloyd cruises, and P&O Cruises.

Transam Argosy provides a full range of port agency services to visiting cruise ships at Norfolk Island.  Transam Argosy was established in 1987, and today is now a subsidiary of Pacific Direct Line who operate cargo services around the South Pacific.
